COVID-19 Information and Procedures

COVID-19 Policy Updated As Of March 27, 2022


At-risk or concerned clientele may continue to utilize Athletic Therapy Telehealth appointments at this time.

Staff Training

  • All staff members have been fully trained in policy and procedure.
  • Changes to the public health situation or recommendations will be briefed to staff and adjusted for on an expidited timeline.

  • Pre-Screening

  • Clients will continue to be pre-screened prior to appointments via email sent out two hours before or by verbal means upon entry.
  • Clients will be asked to cancel and reschedule appointments under the following conditions
  • -You are experiencing sore throat, fever, cough, runny nose, shortness of breath, or other viral symptoms.
    -You have been ordered or recommendedto self-isolate.


    Appointment Arrivals

  • Client are asked to wait outside of clinic and will be admitted by staff upon the beginning of their appointment. Please arrive as close to your appointment time as possible.
  • The building's common foyer is accessible in order to wait indoors and out of the elements..
  • Clean changes of clothing are no longer required prior to appointments but still recommended for basic hygeine purposes.
  • Practitioners will continue to wear face masks for all appointments at this time.
  • Clients will be required to either wash their hands with soap and water or apply hand sanitizer immediately upon entry.

  • Accompaniment

  • If you require a companion or caregiver to assist with entry, this is permitted, but they will thereafter be asked to wait outside of the premises.
  • Parents or guardians of dependents may remain in the clinic if accompanying the entire appointment within the treatment room, but will otherwise be asked to remain outside of the premises.
  • If accompananiment during appointments is necessary, please limit it to a single individual unless absolutely required.
  • Please otherwise come to your appointment unaccompanied.

  • Appointments and Administration

  • Fask masks are recommended but optional for clients and available upon request.
  • Additional PPE (apron, smock, face shield) is available for staff to don upon request from clients.
  • Personal items will be kept in an isolated storage bin inside treatment rooms, cleaned between all appointments.
  • If the clinic's common exercise space is required, proper social distancing measures will be in place.

  • Cleaning and Other Preventative Measures

  • Additional time between all appointments has been scheduled to allow for routine cleaning procedures.
  • Treatment room tables, treatment items/tools, and personal item bins are disinfected between all appointments.
  • Any exercise equipment, treatment tools, and administrative items touched during appointments are disinfected after client departure.
  • Clinic floor, counters, tabletops, etc. are cleaned after contact and at end of day.
  • Clinic door handles are disinfected routinely.
  • Shared building restroom facilities are available with provided key fob-access only.
